Bhopal Development Authority, who was badly hit by the recession in the real estate, is now trying to bring back the things on track by building the flyovers to get rid of traffic congestion problem in Bhopal. Bhopal Development Authority is yet to announce any real estate scheme for this financial year.

BDA chairman Om Yadav while presenting the budget for 2016-17 suggested having a flyover at Board Office square and Lal Ghati at MP Nagar.

In spite of proposed metro rail in Bhopal, Bhopal Development Authority considers traffic to be still an issue and they are best possible actions to deal with the traffic problem in the urban city. For covering the cost of RS 598 crores of this project, BDA has targeted revenue generation of RS 601 crores.

Last year revenue receipt of BDA was just RS 266 crores, against the expected target of target RS 616 crore.  Mr. Yadav did not announce any new housing project; they just focus on completing the pending projects.
Among the pending projects are:

MahalaxmiParisar and Laywers Chamber Arera Hills, Navibagh 516 flats, Goundar Mow 146 acre,Barrai (ahead of Misrod) 1,974 flats, Salaiya (ahead of Kolar) around 1,104 flats, Misrod Phase II 230 acre, Misrod Phase I 622 acre.

BDA said that we are ready to sell out housing schemes plots at discounted rates but going much bellow will affect out revenue guidelines. However, in certain conditions where there are very rare buyers, we go for around 25% discount.
