Interior designer Sheena Chhabria designs an interesting three bedroom apartment in Mumbai. The uniqueness about the project is the French style used in this project. Unusual colour scheme like grey, taupe, gunmetal metallics enhances the beauty of this home. The old world charm with its Victorian style has been captured and bought to life beautifully in this project.
- This living room has elaborate details like French lace for layering of curtains. Hand embroidery and fabric pleating techniques visible on cushions and soft furnishings adhere to the Victorian style. Colourful boarded wall paneling and fluted architraves add to the structural beauty of the interiors.
- This pristine space for grace has a calm and composed vibe adorned with religious articles.
- The entrance has lovely grey emporio classic herringbone ceilings and upholstery reflecting vintage Victorian style. A blend of royalty and chic look is the highlight of this space. Lighting in this area has been given a lot of importance to create 2-3 scenes in the absence of natural light in this zone. Beautiful tall back printed and studded chairs, lamps, wall lights, chandelier, rugs and a small table adorns the waiting area.
- The den room has wallpaper by Andrew Martin making it a statement wall. The uniqueness of the den room is that it can also be converted into a guest room. The couch opens into a king size bed and the champagne French doors are layered with blinds to give adequate privacy to the space. The ceiling is cladded with leather wallpaper. Hide rugs, fur runners, leather chairs all complete the space, giving it a cosy, warm and welcoming feel.
- The master bedroom has a play of ivory, whites, champagne, silver, taupe tones. Generous use of fabric and leather makes the space look inviting and cosy.
- Navy and grey colour scheme in the kid’s room give it a masculine feel.
- Tall ceiling heights, outdoor decks, full height white windows, abundant natural light gives this space 2 distinctive beautiful looks. Ambient lighting creates one look for the day and one for the night.
