Neelanjan Gupto Design Co. designs an apartment for an Indian joint family. With the total dimension of the space, 60 × 7200 × 40 m (length, height, width), the space was renovated at the cost of ₹ 5,000,000. Combining elements of luxury, comfort and style, the space has been fashioned keeping the taste of each member in mind. Wood and glass features in different areas of the house add elegance and sophistication to the space.
- Sophisticated colour palette differentiates this living area and gives it an extraordinary appeal. Tinge of purple on the wooden slab apart from splashes of yellow on the chair and lampshade stands out in this subdued space. Small round tables spread in the centre instead of a single centre table with black edges placed gives the space a trendy feel.
- This master bedroom enthrals with its neutral colour scheme, giving it a relaxed and composed feel. Bed in raised boat design in white gives a trendy touch to the bedroom. Modular cupboards give the space a clutter-free look. Wood makes its way into this bedroom, keeping the natural feel intact. Light colour scheme blends well with the rest of the space. Electronics have been intentionally done away with for uninterrupted sleep.
- Marble and ceramic forms an essential part of this bath space. Tiles with texture effect give it a unique feel.
- Floor to ceiling mirror wardrobe gives a spacious feel to this bedroom and serves as a functional mirror at the same time. Tufted leather headboard is the main highlight of this bedroom. The space charms with its light subdued colour and minimal artifacts. Netting and pattern window shutters ensures the space is airy and keep insects at bay.
- Frosted glass seamlessly divides the bath area from the basin space, giving it the much needed privacy required for the area.
- Multi-coloured and semi-transparent glass wall functions as a partition between two rooms in the house. Coloured glass serves dual function here, as a mural in the master bedroom and simultaneously segregates the bedroom from the remaining area.
