Most of us now use an electric rice cooker to get perfectly cooked rice. Ramesh Chembath, Business Head – Kitchen Appliances, Usha International, tells us how to take care of an appliance that has freed us from the task of constantly watching over the cooking pot.
1. If you are using the cooker for the first time, avoid experimenting with it. Go through the manual carefully before operating it to avoid any mistakes.
2. Always fill water up to the scale provided in the cooker (generally there are measuring cups provided, use them). This helps in efficient cooking.
3. The cooker should not be kept near any water-based surface to avoid electric shock.
4. To keep the cooker free from odor and corrosion, the inner parts such as lid, pan should be kept clean.
5. Avoid touching the outer surface of the cooker when it is in use. Also stay away from the cooker as the hot steam emitting from the cooker may cause injuries to your hands and face.
6. If you spot harsh residue deposits, only use the cleaning agents suggested by the company. Avoid using sharp object s for the same. It may damage the nonstick coating and glass cover.
7. The cooker should not be operated without the inner pot. This may damage the cooker.
8. Food kept in the cooker for long periods will attract bacterial growth. Ensure you transfer it to a different utensil once it is cooled down.
9. Clean and dry the cooker thoroughly before it is used again.

2016-11-21 02:57:53I have been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before. nike air max negras
