8 Tips That Tell You Which Colour for Which Room

Colours impact well-being according to vastu, and each one has its own importance. So if you want your house to be healthy and happy, choose colours with care, says expert SK Mehta.

Yellow & Cream: These can be used in the north-eastern direction, or for place of worship, drawing room, dining room, study room or entry way situated in the east or central zone.
Pink & Red: Red is the colour of strength, while pink represents happiness and love. Pink can be used for bedrooms in southern side, which is lead to marital bliss and fame in the society. It also results in achieving positions of power at work.
Blue: This colour gives peace and contentment. You can use it in the bedroom situated in the southern area or also in the study room or your kid's room. This helps in getting quick promotions at work and strengthening your business.

Light Violet & Light Brown: These can be used for the master bedrooms, stores or waiting lounges in the south and western sections. Alternative colours are light pink or grey.
Pearl White: This colour is good for the drawing room situated in the north-west direction. You can also use it for the entrance pathway, kitchen, daughter's bedroom or guest rooms. This helps in keeping mental peace.
Rose Pink & Orange: You can also use these (as well as white and cream) for the kitchen, bedroom and drawing rooms.
Painting the north area with light green will help your children succeed in their careers, promote good health in women and bring prosperity to the house as well.
White: Always get your ceilings painted white, no matter what. Ceilings are like a Brahmasthaan, which affects your day-to-day lives.
Light Green & Sky Blue: Use these in the drawing room situated in the north area of your house, in the entrance way or guest room.
