Walls can be used and treated in many ways to make it look beautiful. It solves the problem of storage especially in flats. Interior designer Deeksha Khatree lists few wall storage tips.
- A wall mounted LED cabinet is perfect to free up floor space. Wall hung entertainment unit includes drawers with full extension glides that help you keep your favourite games, movies and music organized and out of sight.
- Light-weight board wall shelves can be used in various designs for display purposes. We can call it display storage. Use these to showcase your favourite books or decorative items like photo frames, small showpieces, etc.
- To keep your toys organized, create adjustable wall shelves in a child’s room. Smaller toys can be put in a labeled bin and big toys can rest on shelves.
- For the living room, you can add some stack cabinets on the wall. For this, you can buy 4 -5 long cabinets that are ready to stack. Optionally, you can screw them on the wall. This wall storage is multipurpose in use.
- Bold hexagon shelves on walls can be used to showcase showpieces in the drawing room.
- To store jewelry, hang a cork board on the wall. This is a sustainable and maintenance-free material and can hang necklaces, earrings, etc. Peg board is another option that allows you to hang your jewelry pieces.
- The space between the studs in wall can also be created in kitchen to store many small bottles such as vinegar, sauces, pouches, oils, biscuits, coffee etc.
