Curtain rods play a very important role in a room. Let’s take a look at different factors that need to be kept in mind for curtain rods.
- If you have a light colour theme background, you can opt for slim curtain rods. This gives the rod a light appearance and sync well with the overall theme of the room.
- For framed windows, hang the rods near the ceiling. This accessory gives a neat look and feel to the space.
- Slim rods are always preferable compared to the heavier ones. This feature will make the curtain rod disappear and enhance the curtain hung on it.
- Take a look at the colour of the furniture around the space. Match the colour of the curtain rod with the furniture. For example, you could opt for golden theme if you have accent furniture or splashes of gold around the space.
- A curtain rod in stainless steel is another option for a space that has a colourful background or theme. It adds a contrasting feel to the space.
- Keep in mind the location where the curtain rod has to be hung. For example, if it’s in the shower area that attracts moisture, nickel rods is the preferred choice.
