5 ways to use fringe design at home

Let’s take a look at how fringes, valances and frills add an element of interest to home interiors.

Fringe pillows give an attractive feel to the living area. If you have unused cloth, make a fringe design out of it and sew it to the pillow. Colourful fringes on single colour pillows are a good idea. Place them on your sofa to add style.

If you have small kids or children, you can hang balloons with fringes. These give a playful feel to the space.

You can decorate the entrance or hallway using pennants strung together. You can make these 'garlands' yourself or buy them off the shelf. Use them for birthday parties or anniversaries for a decorative feel.

Curtains with valances enhance the decorative appeal of a space. The same is true of sheer curtains in light colours with fringes. Four-poster beds decked with valances or looped fabric in sheers look wonderful.

Special occasions demand a special feel. If you have family members coming over after a long time or if you are catching up with friends once in a while, use table cloths with frills. This makes the space look attractive and makes it stand out as well.
