- Dressing table: Dressing table should be placed adjacent to the bedroom but avoid placing it on southern wall in South-West zone. The reason being it will increase expectations from your spouse, leading to problems in your relationship. Ideally, the right placement of dressing table should be decided to keep in mind the effects of the mirror in vastu.
- Wall paintings: According to vastu, wall paintings are a very powerful tool to programme your building for the manifestation of your desires. Each painting conveys an emotion and has certain elements representing it. For example, a village scene is a powerful remedy to get your own house. Since it represents gains, ideally it should be placed on the western wall in the house. Similarly, painting of greenery is related with air element and represents growth. So, it can be placed in the North zone for new opportunities.
- Cupid: Cupid is a symbol of love and according to directions of alchemy in vastu shastra, it should be placed in South-West, the zone of love. For a newly-wed couple, it can also work as a stimulator of passion when placed in North-North- West, the zone of Rati (goddess of sex).
- Wind chimes: These can be placed in North, North-West and West zones in your home. In North, you can place a wind chime made up of five rods; this will attract new opportunities in your career. In North-West, use a six-rod chime to motivate your supporters to work towards your gains and benefits. Similarly, a seven-rod wind chime in the west brings overall gains for you.
- Pair of white horses: Place a sculpture of a pair of white horses in the North-West zone of your home. It will facilitate financial support like a bank loan for you.
