Railings enhance the décor element of a space. Architect Shezaan Bhojani gives simple tips on how to emphasize railings the right way.

Pure glass railings give a contemporary feel to your home décor. The best part about these kinds of railings is that it gives volume and does not interfere with the staircase. Apart from offering functional support, it adds a design element to the space.
To highlight railings, opt for the metal version. Geometric or elaborate patterns such as filigree give a beautiful feel and traditional touch to the interiors.
Another innovative way to put focus on railings is to experiment with different materials. You can also create a vertical garden with pots around it. For example, you can have a green railing with pots near it to give a refined look to the space.
Make use of vertical slabs of natural stones such as bricks etc. This helps you achieve a raw finish and natural feel. It also adds an element of interest to your interiors.
