One of the top three furniture expenditures-sofa with comfortable sitting, impressive design, working dimensions and perfect colour is what makes the Sofa that willing piece for your room. Here are some tips by Ar Alok Bhagat to help you choose your sofa colour :
- The first step
If you're about to begin your interior work from scratch, a sofa can be chosen first. It would give you a picture of the room- how would the style go and what would you like to decorate around your furnishes.
If you want a sofafor existing decorated space or if you are planning the furniture to play a supporting role, then follow the decision making point : number one, wouly you like it to merge with the rest if, or if it will take on an accent role. - Light or Dark Sofa Color?
Once you decide if your sofa will be an accent or neutral color, the next stepis to decide if it will be light or dark. The ideal way to get through the process is look after the floors. Would you like dark on dark floor which disappear into the room or light one which sets the decorations. Also consider how the room will be used, example light coloured sofa are smart selection for modern interiors but it would be more mess match if you have dogs or cats in the house. - The experiment
Once you've considered either to go with dark or the light, it's time to experiment for that color. Here is the trick- drape your sofa with the same coloured cloth or upholstery and find out how much appealing does it seems to you. The more matching the colour is the best result you get out of this experiment.
