Studying can be a hefty task requiring utmost focus with minimal distractions. It requires a certain environment for children to enhance their learning process.To make the best of home interior comforting studious environment for your kids, let us help you with some tips and tricks :

  1. Choosing Study Zone
    It is very much recommended to create a separate study room so that the child is not disturbed by anything. It will be much better if the room is a bit distant from the main hall so that the child is not distracted from any noises coming from other rooms.
  2. Providing Study Room With Furniture
    The furniture creates a comfortable functional environment. A good and spacious table with a chair, a bookshelf is a definitive arrangement. These furniture should be put together considering the height and needs of the child with adjustable angle and height for their comfort without any abysmal posture which can have negative impact on the growth, and health because poor posture can lead to scoliosis and poor eyesight. The furniture should be well-built with durability. The bookshelf should be commodious and in reach of the child.
  3. Lighting
    The lighting is an important aspect of any study environment. The placement of the light is very important and should be done with the consideration of dominating hand of the child i.e. righty or lefty. The natural light is best in terms of productivity and alertness. Warmer light tires the eyes quickly while the cooler colour have a harsh impact. The study arrangement should be as near to as possible to any window. For artificial lights, colour should be as close to as natural light with mobility feature if any change is required. If the lamp is used for continuous period, it will heat up. Therefore, halogen lamps are not recommended.
  4. Room Color
    The colour stimulates a psychological effect on human minds. Colours can manipulate emotions and moods. Too bright or too dark colours can influence a child's concentration. Ideal colours for a study room are blue, green and yellow with their accents on furniture if possible.
  5. Need Of Computer
    Now-a-days, with technological advancements, requirement of a computer is there. Most assignments needs research material which is available on the internet while some assignments are purely acceptable in soft copy to save papers. The computer and internet access should be restricted regarding the children so that they do not spend their study time in videogames and other activities.

    Children should be engaged as much as they can in terms of selection and customization procedure for their room so that they feel joyous and involved regarding their study room.
