Like buying a property, selling a property is also a tedious task. Rather, selling a property is a tricky job. You decide to sell your property but then you as a seller are clueless about what to do to close get and close the deal faster and move on with your further investment plan.

So here are some tips that could you should do when you decide to make your property available for sale in the market.

1.Get in touch with your neighbours first: when you plan to sell your property, propagate that news. And neighbours are the best people as they are always curious about what is happening around them. Invite them and give them a tour of your home. It might be possible that someone from them would get interested in buying your property or could become a prime source for selling your property. Also remember that it is better to keep neighbours in your hand as they might spoil the deal with negative words if your relationship with them is not healthy.

2.Positive vibes: First impression is the last impression. And this becomes very much true when you are out to sell your property. A buyer can cancel the deal or even dislikes the house in a first instance if it is not clean, unorganised or have a bad smell. Hence always keep your house clean, make sure that it is well maintained, all switches and lights are in working condition, such that the buyers get positive vibes from it. Overall keep the house in good shape so that the buyer get an impression that they are getting a value for money deal and you also get a good amount.

3.Don’t say no to site visit requests: buyers would not come as per convenience, they will first see theirs. They can ring anytime and ask for a site visit. Try to accept their request or if you are not free then you can appoint a broker to help you with the site visits. So never say no to a buyer as you never know what will work out when. Hence make a thumb rule to accept almost all the requests as then there are more chances to crack a deal easily.

4.Keep it minimalistic: keep your property simple and minimal. You might like bright colours, textures walls but these might become the reason to put off the buyers. The prospective buyer might like to design and decorate the property in their own way after buying it. So it is better to keep the property with a basic paint and design. Also if you are planning to renovate the property in a big way before selling, then it is advised not to do it. Don’t waste your money on what is not required.
