Is your property located in the prime location but is still not able to get the right rental price or the right tenant? If you are having trouble renting out your property then we have some tips that will help you in getting the most from the property.

This will not be possible until you are ready to invest some money for better returns on the property. As the owner of the property, you might not be able to catch its negative aspects. You can ask your friend or relative to accompany you to the property and help you in pointing out the issue that might be there.

1.Fix the faulty doors and windows:
A tenant’s priority is the safety and security of his family and well being. If the windows or doors are broken or not functioning well, then it might turn away a potential tenant. Make sure that all the glass windows are fixed and the locks on the windows and doors are latched properly. If not, fix it immediately.

2.Keep the property clean:
A clean and well maintained property will give a positive vibe to the tenant. If the property is not cleaned regularly then it will become the breeding place for pests which will further damage the property. The tenants will want you to get rid of them before moving in and it will cost you more money then.

3.Refresh the kitchen and bathroom:
Remodelling the kitchen and bathroom fitting can be too expensive. To keep the expenses minimum while making sure they look brand new, the owner can get few things done like fixing the taps and checking the plumbing. Scrubbing the entire kitchen and bathroom will bring sparkle and will be eye catching. Fixing the faulty cabinet doors and locks will add further to the property looking good.

4.Repaint the walls:

The colour of the walls chip and fade away every few years or so. To make sure the property looks brand new and sparkly, paint the walls. Check for any patch of wet mould and get rid of it. Painting the walls will brighten up the property and increase its attractiveness.

5.Offer appliances or furniture:
For a tenant, the major concern is the added expense that will come to it. To help him with the same, you can offer some electrical appliances like AC, refrigerator, etc. or provide them with some furniture like couch or wardrobe. This will help them in many ways and will attract more tenants.

Investing in the rental property is a must to get proper returns. The more you invest in the property, the more heavy return you will be getting from it.
