And more and more corporate professionals are opting to stay close to their office spaces to maintain their work-life balance. But why this trend is gaining so much momentum.

Many companies in the west pay a good amount as salaries to their employees to stay close to the workplaces or those who can shift their base close to their offices. Offering higher salaries is a way to compensate their employees for paying higher rent price or to buy a costlier property because the employees spend most of their time working for the organisation. And if they stay close to the office their productivity improves and in a way they are giving it back to the organisation only by putting up more working hours. Also, less travelling means burning less fuel and saving the environment in return.
