A bit expensive: The concept of furnished rented accommodation is good but as nothing comes for free in this world, hence the cost for renting a fully furnished place is much costlier as compared to the semi or a non- furnished unit. And due to ready-made furniture available the security deposit is comparatively on a higher side as the cost will include the wear and tear of the furniture.
Maintenance of the furniture: Although the tenants are getting furniture along with the property, but it becomes a liability of the tenants to maintain them. They have to ensure that the furniture does not get damaged when they move out of the apartment. And if the furniture gets damaged or even it has a small scratch, then the tenants are liable to bear the cost. Hence the tenants should click pictures or make a video of the furniture before they move into the apartment. This can be a good proof if the landlord tries to ask for more money or cut the security deposit during the refund.
