8 unique ways to decorate entryways

The entryway gives visitors the first impression about your house. However, we hardly pay much attention to this space. Sneha Sonam reveals some interesting ideas to accessorize the entryway in a pocket-friendly manner.
1Go Green:
Adding some greenery to your house is always a good idea. For this, you don’t necessarily need to be a plant lover. Using tiny pots will not only catch the attention of your guests but also bring freshness to the house. These will turn your dull wall into a vibrant one. All you have to do is visit the nearby market and bring small pots or jars and fix it yourself.
2Accentuating with mirrors:
Mirror symbolizes physical and spiritual reflection. When used for decoration, it reflects the accents kept around. It also makes a small space look big. Mirrors of different shapes and sizes are in trend these days. While the full size or the bigger ones make the entrance vintage and classy, the smaller ones put together express contemporary and modernism. Ensure that you do not rub these mirrors unnecessarily; just clean with a wet piece of paper.
3Jazz it up with candles:
As festivals are fast approaching, you can brighten up a nook of your entrance. Candles help to serve the purpose. Like everything else, candles have also got a designer touch. You can easily find varieties in the market both online and offline. If you don't intend to spend much, you can turn your creative side on and... DIY.
4Store in style:
A console table or low height shoe cabinet solves the sole purpose of keeping shoes. A low height shoe cabinet provides a sitting area to put on your shoes. You can pair it up with fancy hooks or key holders. While the console will give you an extra inch to stack up your shoes, you can use the top to keep small art pieces.
5Frame it up:
Give your boring wall a makeover by simply decking it up with frames housing family photographs, travel photos, etc. You can choose beautiful quotes and frame them, or just create a 'collage' of beautiful, empty frames in various (colourful, distressed and tasteful) finishes...
6Shine on:
Lighting fixtures can always brighten up any space with merely a click. They completely change the ambience and bring warmth to the house. You can opt from the various options available in the market like pendant lamps, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, etc.

Paintings have been the love of every interior decorator forever. Whatever the situation is, they work like magic. If painting is your passion, then there is no better way for self-expression. You can hang up your own piece of work or any other artist’s work that you admire.

They are capable of creating a statement in your house and turn a small, informal unattractive corner of your house into a stunning imperial space which you would be proud to display.
