7 Tips to Enhance Career Success with the North Zone

North denotes the wealth zone in vastu shastra whereas in feng shui, it stands for career growth and success, thereby making it one of the most important zones to take care of. Vastu and feng shui consultant Rashi Gaur lists few simple tips to help you enhance your success at work.

The best way to enhance the North Zone and get its energies moving is by ensuring some sort of water element here. Placing an aquarium here can really open up career opportunities for you. Gold fish are symbols of wealth and are great to add here. However, ensure that if you do go ahead with an aquarium, you must learn to take good care of it. Happy fish means career success. The fish will be happy if the water is kept clean. Also ensure that the aquarium is big enough to let them swim freely and they are fed on time. If fish die because of your constant negligence, it takes away the career luck from you. If you are not capable of taking care of them, then there are other ways to enhance this zone.
Placing a water fountain is another way to energize the North Zone. Water falling gently and collecting into a pool is a lot better than gushing water. Choose a fountain wisely that is in proportion to your space. Similarly, a pond in your garden in the North Zone or a clean swimming pool is auspicious to get your career running. If your space doesn’t allow you for any of this, you can hang a painting of water. It could be of a stream, a lake or a sea. If it is a waterfall, don’t have anything as gushing and wild as Niagara Falls. Don’t depict scenes such as a stormy sea either as it attracts negative energy.
If your bedroom happens to be in the North, do not use any of the above. Instead activate the North zone with colours like white and blue and add metallic artefacts in gold and silver.
To increase success, place a statue of Lord Kuber in the North zone.
A single turtle or tortoise placed in the North zone also enhances your career prospects. Choose a metallic one as opposed to a crystal or ceramic one.
Do not place crystals, crystal decorations or crystal chandeliers and lights in this zone as crystals take away the water energy and hence weaken this zone. Similarly ensure that there are no red cushions, drapes, lampshades, etc in the North zone as it will bring career obstacles.
Keep this zone as light and as free as possible. Do not clutter this zone and do not keep a waste paper basket or a bin in this zone as it will attract negative energy.
