The outdoor vastu is as important for a prosperous house as the vastu within. While we fix the vastu within, we often ignore the area surrounding the house. There are many factors in the outside environment that can send bad vibes to our abode or workplace. Vastu and Feng Shui consultant Rashi Gaur gives simple solutions and tips to avoid such elements and choose ones that help to prosper and bring abundance.
- There’s no quicker way to enhance the good energy in your home than hanging crystal balls by your windows. Make sure that crystal balls have enough facets (cuts and sides) as this is what will break up the sunshine filtering through into your home, making rainbows in your living space. Such crystal balls are also useful for blocking poison arrows caused by the edges of neighbouring buildings.
- Buildings with many corners and edges, etc. that may be directly pointing at your space are the source of the greatest amount of negative energy. So avoid such locations.
- A house sandwiched between two buildings is not good to live in because it blocks the source of light from entering the house and causes moisture leading to health problems.
- Do not buy a house that faces a fast moving highway. The negative energies here are at its peak and can be very intense for home space.
- Ensure that the main doors always face open space. This is known as the bright hall effect and is considered very auspicious. Also, the door should not be cracked, getting stuck or creaking because it attracts bad luck into the house. Hence, fix them at the earliest.
- Any lane or path leading to your main door should be curved and preferably winding. A straight path that leads directly into your house doesn’t carry favourable energies. Turn it into a meandering path instead and always keep the path leading to your house nicely lit up.
- Avoid houses that have a natural water body right behind it as it leads to stress. Also, avoid living near high voltage transmission towers as it causes health issues and affects career and education of the occupants.
