Velvet is considered a luxury fabric, but one should not go overboard using it. Let’s take a look at how to decorate your interiors using velvet.

  1. If you have more furniture in a room, do not use the fabric on all of them. Select one or two chairs that are placed at a distance and use the velvet fabric on them. This gives a unique charm to the space.
  2. Give a glamorous look to your bedding with a velvet headboard. This adds grandeur to the space.
  3. If you have a low height ottoman, enhance it with a velvet fabric to provide ease and comfort.
  4. Quilts with worn-out velvet look can be used on the bed to give a relaxed feel to the space.
  5. Although velvet fabric is generously used on pillows, etc, you can also use the fabric on bedsheets. This will help you keep yourself warm during winters.
  6. Tufted velvet is another option that you can use on your cushions or sofas. It adds a modern look to the furniture.
  7. Give a sophisticated look to your home interiors using glamorous patterns like damask against a velvet backdrop. You can use it on drapes near windows to improve the look of the space.
