6 tips to decorate with lamps

Lights can make the simplest place look stylish. Here is a simple guide to light up your home with the right kind of lamps.
- Firstly understand the decor of your home to figure out which kind of lamp is suitable. Coral-shaped lamps can add a touch of glamour to a modern decor.
- The amount of light required for a room also plays a very important role. For reading, opt for a subtle shade and if you need the entire room to be lit up, go for lamp with radiant shade.
- Ensure that the size of the lamp is proportionate to the room. If you have a small table, an oversized lamp will look out of place.
- Add spotlight to a dining area with a sleek design lamp. Place it at the corner of the room to give an elevated feel to the room.
- A ceramic lamp can add a vintage and cosy feel to a reading corner. You can place it at the corner of a table to get the right amount of light.
- To give a decorative touch to your home, get a lampshade with a unique pattern and shape. This can add glamour to your bedroom.
