5 vastu tips to consider while making a store room

Expert SK Mehta lists the things to keep in mind while constructing a store room.
- Never have windows in a store room because the capacity of the room may decrease. However, the room should have proper lighting and ventilation.
- The ceiling of the store room should be of the same height as other rooms.
- The store room should have just one door, and that should always remain closed. Also, the floor should also not be lower than the normal floor level in the house.
- Use light colour paint in the store room so that the room isn’t dark -- preferably white, cream or any other light colour.
- Always keep the store room as clean as possible. It should never be dirty or have leakage problems, which may lead to health issues.
