- Tool kit: This is a must have for every home. It should comprise of the screwdriver of different size, hammer along with nails and bolts to fix things immediately.
- Silicon gel or petroleum jelly: This can be used to reduce the squeaky effect in doors and windows. If it does not work, then you need to lift the hinge pins and apply petroleum jelly. The greasing effect works wonders.
- Sand block, putty knife and sealant: Sand blocks and putty knives can be used to fix small cracks or joints in your home. For any kind of leaks, you can use sealants, just apply and leave it to dry.
- Chair floor pads: Keep a couple of chair floor pads at home to protect your chairs from rubbing off. These pads help in reducing the noise and also protect the floor from getting scratched. Floor pads are also used to balance uneven chairs.
- Wax markers: You can easily remove ugly scratches on your wooden furniture using wax markers. You don’t need a professional to do this. Apply the coat and say goodbye to marks and scratches on you furniture.
