5 tips to keep home germ-free

- There are many hidden places in the house such as kitchen sink, cutting boards, doorknobs, desks and entertainment centers etc. that can become breeding grounds for germs. After a meal, make it a habit to clean the kitchen immediately and thoroughly. Use anti-bacterial sanitizer for this. Similarly, keep cleaning other parts of the house like doorknobs, desks, entertainment areas, once or frequently after few days.
- Research says germs enter the body through saliva. Therefore it is essential to keep the toothbrush in a clean place so that it does not have germs in it. Germs also affect health. Food particles and bacteria stick to the toothbrush, which cause damage to the teeth and saliva during brushing. It is therefore necessary to clean the toothbrush with warm water after brushing and keeping the brush upwards. Keep in mind that brush should not be kept in a moist place.
- Do not wear shoes at home all the time. Small particles, germs and insects stick to shoes and spread to the corners of the house, which makes your home dirty as well as spoils your health. Therefore, arrangements should be made to take out shoes and slippers out of the house so that germs imposed in it do not spread inside the house.
- By controlling the home environment the house can also be kept germ-free. Extra-stuffed house or countertop and excess food kept in the refrigerators spread germs in the house and cause growth of microbes. So keep in mind that the climate of the house should be controlled and kept around 68 to 74 degrees.
- Wash your clothes and dry them properly. The bedroom is also a huge place for germs to breed. Wash the clothes of the bed with warm water once a week. Use anti-allergy mattress wrap. This will help to keep germs away. Wipe the house with anti-bacterial products. Apart from this, after cleaning the floor, dry the wet wipes out of the house. Then put it inside.
