The evocative folkart called Warli comes from the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat, where there are settlements of an ancient tribe known as the 'Warlis'. Shibani Jain, founder, Baaya Design, gives interesting tips to add exotic touch with Warli.

The only colour used in creating Warli paintings is white and the base is a mix of earth and natural stains like henna and mineral colours. This can add a calm effect to your interiors.
The composition of these paintings lies in its simplicity and is therefore recognized and used widely.
