The staircase can be made a focal point with different designs. Here are a few tips on how to transform the look and feel of stairs.
- Use a single paint colour on alternate stairs and make it stand out. Put some wordings on it if you want some fun element added.
- Make the stairs a style statement using mirrored mosaic tiles. It gives a shimmering effect to your staircase.
- Decorate small stairs with colourful rugs that run from the first to the last stair. Ensure that the walls surrounding the stairs has plain colour to highlight the stairs. Alternately you can also use animal print runner as well.
- The best placement for spiral stairs is the centre of the house. These give a twist and saves space as well.
- Add vertical wall stickers and colourful balusters to the stairs. This gives a unique look and feel to the stairs.
