1. Water Quality: People assume that there is one technology that can solve all water problems. The fact is that there are 17 different kinds of water conditions across India and there is not one size-fits-all solution that can be adopted to purify water. Therefore, understand the water quality in your area and accordingly decide on the purifier. For example, the water supply from the municipal corporation in different cities should be safe with regards to the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) of water and you can be sure that there will never be any poisonous chemicals like arsenic in it but it may contain harmful bacteria and virus.
Eureka Forbes' Geneus RO+UV+UF water purifier can handle water from any source and yet retain the same sweet taste.
2. Contamination: Generally, water supplied from lakes, rivers, and harvested rainwater has a lower concentration of TDS, whereas the water drawn from bore wells or supplied by tankers has a higher concentration of TDS and other harmful chemicals. Choose a water purifier that has the ability to remove these new-age contaminants.
3. Advanced Technologies: There are a range of superior and customized water solutions available in the market that are equipped with patented mineral cartridge and biotron technology which magnetizes and declusters water molecules and provides more than just safe water, in other words healthy water.
4. RO system: Do not assume that RO is the best and the latest technology. Research validates that if one uses RO water purification in areas where it is not required, it will not only lead to ‘demineralised water’ but also add to water wastage. Reverse Osmosis is meant to remove high TDS (salt content), certain heavy metals and contaminants which are found in ‘few’ locations, not all.
5. Electric and non-electric water purifiers: An electric water purifier can be useless in areas where power is erratic. Depending on the need, you can choose from a wide range of electric and non-electric water purifiers that are backed by latest technological innovations. There are two types of non-electric water purifiers: online and offline (or storage type). The online option is fixed to the mouth of taps. These purifiers are portable and do not need electricity.Made of plastic, the filter candle usually has a resin filter that needs to be changed every month. The offline type has a combination of sediment filters and activated carbon filters. This type of storage is very helpful in places facing water shortage.

2016-08-04 16:32:54Informative article. I was researching for options for our new office. Your rival Kent RO claims that their RO is such that it retains minerals up to the normal level, and removes only excess minerals. Can you clarify?
