Just like flowers, floral themed décor never fails to strike a positive cord. However, one can easily overdo it and spoil the theme. So here Vaibhav Jain, CEO, Deco Windows lists 5 interesting ways to decorate your home with flower power like aprofessional.
1. The 3-element rule: The 3 element rule can be applied to almost any theme. Always make sure that not more than 3 components of the décor belong to the same theme. For example, you can opt for curtains, cushions and a table of cloth of floral print. But adding one more element of similar fashion like a botanical printed sofa would ruin the theme.
2. One grand piece: Another way to use this trend is to focus on one grand piece of the floral theme. Like a giant bouquet of exotic flowers made of plastic or fabric, or a series of photo frames of flowers. Utilizing a single gigantic frame of a flower canvas is also one the sure shot way to uplift the tone of the room.
3. Floral wallpaper: One of the easiest ways to instantly pep up the room is to go for a floral wallpaper on just one side of the room. It will immediately give add a character to the room. Wallpaper with big flowers reflects a bold personality, while small flowers reflect an elegant demeanor.
4. Floral accessories: Nowadays floral print accessories are also available in great variety; they are a good way to summate some flower power to your décor.
5. Geometric floral prints: These kind of prints are buzzing in recent times and are a great way to add flowery zest to your sofa. These prints are amazing to team up with a monochrome sofa.
