1Kochia (botanical name is Bassia scoparia):
This plant is red or green in colour. In India, the green version is found.
Type: This is an ornamental plant and usually grows from March to July.
Watering: Kochia needs less water and it is grown through seeds. Usually a mug of water in two days’ time is enough for the plant and requires sunlight. It adds great colour to the garden and they can be potted in other pots or directly inside the ground.
2Marigold:
Nature: Marigold is propagated through seeds. Its flower is yellow in colour and adds beauty to the garden.
Watering and life: The season for marigold is February to July. Water the plant once in two days. It is considered a natural pest control as it controls pests and insects. They can be potted in other pots or directly to the ground.
3Sunflower:
Type: This beautiful plant adds vibrancy to the garden and can be grown in high temperature.
Watering and care: Seeds can be directly sown in polythene or can be first propagated in sand and then transferred to polybag. You can directly purchase the grown plant from the nursery. Water the plant once in two days. Available in yellow and orange colour, sunflower can be potted in other pots or directly under the ground.
